As the official Hotel for Stephanie Sun's visit to Kuala Lumpur, the Hotel hosted a press conference for the young talented Singaporean pop singer, Stephanie Sun Yan Zi. The 29-old singer who has just launched her 10th Album, 'Against the Light' is also well-known among her Taiwanese fans.

Sun's strong vocal capabilities has charmed huge fans all over the world and is well-known for her captivating songs such as Plant, A Perfect Day, The Happiness I Want and The Moment.

More recently, the Hotel also organized the 'Relay for Life' press conference. Relay for Life is a community project organized by the National Cancer Society with the ultimate objective of creating a stronger awareness in the local community on cancer. It is also an avenue for care givers, cancer survivors and families who have lost their loved ones to this disease to get together to lend support to one another.

The press conference was attended by Y.Bhg Dato' Zuraidah Atan, the Honorary Consul of National Cancer Society, Deborah Henry - Ms Malaysia World 2007, Ms Dawn Marie Jeremiah (Miss Malaysia World 2007 1st Runner Up), Ms Jacqueline Ong (Miss Malaysia World 2nd Runner Up 2007), Ms Mae Lee Myn Wee (Miss Malaysia World 3rd Runner Up 2007). After the press conference, the entourage left in a convoy of Viva cars, courtesy of Perodua to various parts of the cities to promote the 'Relay for Life' event which was held at MSN Training Stadium, Bukit Jalil on 2nd and 3rd June.
