YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Ng Yen Yen, Deputy Minister of Finance, Consular Gu Jingqi, Political Consular and Deputy Head of Embassy of The People’s Republic of China Embassy and YBhg. Datuk Dr. Victor Wee, Secretary-General Tourism of Malaysia together with Michael Borostyan, General Manager of Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur launched the ‘Best of Beijing’ promotion which was held on 19th July 2007 at Toh Lee Chinese Restaurant, Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur. The memorable event was witnessed by many distinguished guests who were also feted with specialties prepared by Chefs from Hotel Nikko Century Beijing, Chef Li Xin Hong and Wang Peng.

Emcee for the evening, the renowned YBhg Dato’ Mahadzir Lokman was on hand to offer an insight into Chinese cultural performances lined up for the night…… Chinese Drums, Mask Changing performance and GuZhen.

The event ended in good spirits with guests-of- honour YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Ny Yen Yen and YBhg. Dato’ Mahadzir Lokman performing numerous Chinese songs to the delight of attending guests.
