The Chefs and staff of Café Serena
Brasserie were dressed to the hilt in Mexican
attire recently when the Hotel organized the 'Mexican
Fiesta' promotion with the Chefs Ambassadors on
attendance. The event was ceremoniously launched
by His Excellency Mr. Alfredo Perez, the
Ambassador of Mexico to Malaysia and Mr.
Michael Borostyan, the newly-appointed General
Manager of Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur. Other
guests who were present for the launch event were
His Excellency German Bejarano Garcia,
the Ambassador of Spain to Malaysia, His
Excellency Mr. Alexander Karchava, the
Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of Russian's Federation Embassy, His Excellency
Mr. Marcos Caramuru de Paiva, the Ambassador
of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil's
Embassy and the hotel's top corporate supports.

Guests were feted to experience
an exquisite array of delicious buffet spread
of Mexican dishes, specially prepared by invited
Mexican Chefs Sergio Treves and Roberto Snyder,
such as Chicken in Mole Poblano, Meatballs in
Chipotle, Chile-con-Carne, Tacos, Fajitas, Nachos
and Tamale Pie. For sweet-tooth lovers, traditional
Mexican desserts are also available…………Crepes
with Goats Milk, Celaya Cake, Cocada Moroliana,
Churros, Drunken Banana, Flank, Reynosa Carrot
Cake and Pineapple Delight. In addition, guests
were also entertained with a repertoire of Mexican
songs, specially performed by Chefs Sergio and
Roberto.
Roberto graduated from Nicolas
San Juan Mexico University with Bachelor Degree
in Physics, Mathematics and Science while Sergio
obtained his Hotel Management certification from
Gastronomico Jalisco Mexico Institute upon his
three years attachment in Pianist Course with
Julliard School of Music.
