With a theme Wild Wild West, 483 employees of
Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur turned up as 'cowboys
and 'cowgirls' for the 11th Staff Annual Dinner
held at Grand Ballroom (Level 2), Hotel Nikko
Kuala Lumpur.
The evening started with an opening
speech by the Chairman of 11th Staff Annual Dinner
Committee, Annie Dures followed by a welcome speech
by Michael Borostyan, General Manager of Hotel
Nikko Kuala Lumpur. Throughout the night, the
Hotel's staff were entertained by special dance
performances from the different departments in
the Hotel including a group comprising the EXCO
and Head of the Departments.
In addition, staff were feted
to an array of special buffet spread and additional
entertainment by local 3 - piece band, Arts Stream.
Highlight of the evening was the presenting of
'5 Years Service Awards' and '10 Years Service
Awards' to 84 staff by Michael Borostyan.
"We believe that people will
have greater attitude towards work and environment
if the management reward them accordingly. By
doing this, indirectly, we as the management motivates
employees of the Hotel to work better and achieve
higher performance and results," said Michael
Borostyan.
Fifteen Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur's
staff won the lucky draws which include cold-hard
cash RM1,000.00 motorbike, plasma television,
microwave, washing-machine and a trip to Gold
Coast with cash (worth RM12,500.00)
